      At Domaine Ravier, wine has been a family affair for generations. It is first of all Philippe, a descendant of a family of Savoyard winegrowers and ardent and passionate about working the land and the vines. His path was traced from an early age.       Roussanne is a white-wine grape and its wines are characterized by herbal aromas with green tea hint. On the palate it usually exhibit yellow apple and honey with eminent intensity. In the blends with Marsanne, it gives aromatic intensity to complement its richer counterpart's body and structure.

      The vineyards of Savoie are situated in the foothills and valleys of the French Alps, benefiting from a cool climate and diverse terroirs. The region primarily produces white wines, although some red and rosé wines are also made.
