Vietti “Perbacco” Langhe Nebbiolo DOC 2023 is a refined red wine from Piedmont, crafted from 100% Nebbiolo grapes sourced from several outstanding vineyards in the Barolo area. Produced following a philosophy similar to Barolo and aged in large oak casks, it is released as Langhe Nebbiolo DOC, offering vibrant fruit, approachability in its youth, and remarkable complexity. The 2023 vintage beautifully showcases Nebbiolo's hallmark elegance, aromatic depth, and structured character. “Perbacco” is often regarded as an excellent introduction to the Barolo style while offering outstanding quality and significant ageing potential.
The bouquet reveals red cherry, wild raspberry, and rose petal aromas layered with licorice, tar, dried herbs, and sweet spice notes. Medium to full-bodied, elegantly structured on the palate, the wine displays refined tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long mineral finish.
