      Markus Molitor Riesling "Haus Klosterberg" Trocken 2021 is an exquisite dry white wine, crafted from Riesling grapes meticulously selected from the steep, sun-drenched slopes of the Mosel region in Germany. This wine embodies Markus Molitor's unparalleled expertise and passion for Riesling, showcasing a trocken (dry) style that highlights the grape's potential for crisp acidity, nuanced aromatics, and profound minerality.       "80% slope - 94% Riesling - 100% passion." In 1984, at the age of 20, Markus Molitor took over the management of the winery from his father with a clear goal: to produce the Riesling of the Moselle region under the name Molitor in the tradition of eight generations, the quality of which made the region famous all over the world 100 years ago. “Learning from the past” - this uncompromising pursuit of quality, manual labor, screening and harvesting of grapes, precision in processes, unique experience and knowledge of nature, grapes and wine production allow each terroir and vintage to be fully revealed in the taste of wine. Markus Molitor wines perfectly demonstrate the potential of the Moselle terroir - combining structure and depth of taste with freshness and elegance. The winery is located in the center of the Wehlener Klosterberg estate and uses grapes from 15 vineyards in different locations. Each of the vineyards is unique, which makes it possible to call them "Molitor terroirs".
      Tasting notes

      The 2021 vintage exudes vibrant aromas of lemon, green apple, and a hint of pear, accented by floral undertones and a distinctive slate-like minerality, a signature of the region’s wines. On the palate, it delivers a lively acidity and a sleek, medium-bodied texture, revealing layers of citrus fruits, white peach, and a crisp, mineral finish that is both refreshing and lingering. This Riesling’s dynamic interplay between fruit and minerality makes it a sophisticated and compelling expression of the varietal.

      The Moselle River, as a winding ridge of the region of the same name, Moselle, which often changes its direction, flows northeast from the Rhine and meanders over an area of ​​almost 250 km.
