      About
      Coteaux du Layon 1er Cru Chaume 2023 is a top-tier sweet white wine from one of the Loire Valley’s most prestigious crus. Made from late-harvest Chenin Blanc grapes, often affected by noble rot (botrytis cinerea), this wine combines luscious sweetness with bright acidity and impressive aging potential. The 2023 vintage shows excellent aromatic depth and balance.
      Tasting notes

      Aromas of candied fruit, peaches in syrup, honey, white flowers, and a hint of orange zest. On the palate – smooth and lusciously sweet, yet lifted by fresh acidity. The finish is long, mineral, and elegantly layered with honey and dried fruit notes.

      Pairing

      Perfect with foie gras, blue cheeses (Roquefort, Bleu d’Auvergne), fruit tarts, croissants with apricot jam, or simply enjoyed as a dessert on its own. An ideal wine for celebrations and special tastings.
