Tasting notes

The St. Antony Grauburgunder offers a vibrant bouquet of ripe pear, melon, and a hint of almond, leading to a palate that is both full-bodied and crisp, with flavors of white peach, citrus, and a subtle minerality. This wine’s elegant texture and depth of flavor are complemented by a clean, lingering finish, making it a versatile and sophisticated expression of the Pinot Gris grape. Its balance of fruit, acidity, and texture exemplifies the quality and character that St. Antony aims to achieve in their wines.

Pairing

Pairing the St. Antony Grauburgunder with dishes such as pan-seared trout, creamy pasta, or a hearty chicken salad can enhance the wine’s fruit nuances and complement its richness. It also pairs beautifully with mild cheeses, where the wine’s acidity and fruitiness cut through the creaminess of the cheese, creating a harmonious balance. These food pairings not only highlight the wine’s versatility but also its ability to elevate a wide range of culinary experiences, making it a delightful choice for various dining occasions.
