Monchiero Carbone “CeCu” Roero Arneis 2025
Sommelier recommends
“The nose reveals aromas of white currant, pear, eucalyptus, and white blossom. On the palate, the wine is fresh, creamy, rounded, and perfectly balanced. An outstanding everyday wine.” — Ronalds Pētersons, Sommelier at Noble Wine44 in stock
Monchiero Carbone "CeCu" Roero Arneis 2025 is a dry white wine from Roero DOCG in Piedmont, Italy, crafted from 100% Arneis. The name "CeCu" pays tribute to Francesco Carbone, affectionately known as "CeCu" within the family, celebrating the estate's heritage and traditions. Roero's sandy soils impart aromatic elegance, vibrant minerality, and fresh fruit character, making this a classic expression of the Arneis grape.
The nose reveals aromas of white peach, ripe pear, citrus, and acacia blossom, complemented by fresh herbs and delicate minerality. On the palate, the wine is dry, juicy, and elegantly structured, with crisp acidity, ripe stone fruit flavours, and a long, fresh mineral finish.
An excellent match for seafood, grilled white fish, light pasta dishes, risotto, vegetable appetisers, and fresh goat’s cheese. It also makes a refined aperitif.
