About
Château Roubine "Vie en Rose" Côtes de Provence 2024 is a dry rosé wine made from Cinsault and Tibouren grapes, grown in the prestigious Côtes de Provence region of France. Celebrating the elegance of Provence’s terroir, this wine captures the sunlit charm and maritime influence of the area, resulting in a refreshing yet refined profile. Its delicate pale pink hue reflects both its finesse and the careful craftsmanship behind its creation.
Tasting notes

The nose reveals fresh aromas of wild strawberries, white peach, rose petals, and citrus zest. On the palate, it offers a crisp and lively texture, with notes of red currant, grapefruit, and a hint of Mediterranean herbs. The finish is clean, mineral-driven, and elegantly persistent, evoking the coastal breeze of Provence.

Pairing

This rosé pairs beautifully with grilled seafood, fresh summer salads, and light Mediterranean dishes. Its vibrant acidity and delicate fruit character also make it an ideal match for sushi and sashimi.

In the middle of the Provence region, between the communes of Lorgues and Draguignan, one of the oldest wineries in France "Château Roubine". The winery has been known since the 14th century, when the Templars transferred ownership of the estate to Saint James of the Order of Jerusalem in 1307. Due to its strategically advantageous position on the Roman Route Julienne and the beauty of the surrounding area, the winery is visited by many visitors every year.In 1953, the Ministry of Agriculture awarded the winery the category “Cru Classé”, which is awarded to prestigious vintage wines. The estate vineyard is located in the heart of Vara, between the Verdon River and the Mediterranean Sea , surrounded by pine and oak trees, thirteen grape varieties are grown thanks to the ideal east / west location, natural drainage ("Roubine" means stream), chalky clay soil and excellent conditions for the production of premium wines. The estate covers 320 acres, and the grapes grow on 178 acres. The winery optimally combines but the latest technology and scrupulous requirements for the care of grapes.
Cinsault based red wines are generally low in tannin and usually used in blends for its perfume. Light red berries are the most generally associated aromas descriptors.
Provence is a wine–growing region in the remote southeastern part of France, best known for its quality rose wines and warm, mild climate. Winds characteristic of the southern climate of France (eg mistral wind blowing from the Rhone Valley) are an important factor here; they reduce the spread of vine diseases and molds in vineyards, but unfortunately increase the risk of damage to the grapes and even the vines themselves. In addition, the ideal summer conditions are somewhat offset by the storms that occur in spring and autumn.
