About
Antech Crémant de Limoux Brut Nature 2022 is a dry sparkling wine from the Maison Antech estate in the renowned Limoux region of southern France. The blend uses grapes typical for Crémant de Limoux — principally Chardonnay and Chenin Blanc, rounded out by touches of Mauzac — and is vinified in the traditional method, with extended lees ageing and no added dosage (“Brut Nature / zéro dosage”).
Tasting notes

On the nose, it reveals delicate aromas of white flowers, fresh orchard fruits and ripe citrus — a fragrant and inviting bouquet with refined minerality. The palate is crisp, lively and harmonious, offering bright citrus, green apple and subtle mineral-driven freshness, with fine bubbles and a clean, elegant structure. The finish is mineral and complex, leaving a refreshing and refined impression, ideal for those who enjoy lean, terroir-driven sparkling wines.

Pairing

This wine pairs beautifully with shellfish and seafood — such as oysters, light fish dishes or shrimp — where its acidity and freshness balance the brininess. It is also an excellent aperitif, or a sophisticated match for light starters, goat cheese or fresh salads.

Languedoc-Roussillon is a major wine producing region in the south of France formed by two independent areas - the French Languedoc and the Spanish Roussillon. The climate here can be described as Mediterranean, because the winters are cool, but the summers - hot and dry. The region produces different wines but it is most famous for the excellent Carignan, Grenache, Mourvedre, Merlot Cabernet and Sauvignon red table wines. They are simple, tasty and have a friendly price so anyone could enjoy them in everyday life without expecting a special occasion.
