Tyrrell's Hunter Valley Semillon 2024 is a dry white wine crafted exclusively from Semillon grapes in Australia's renowned Hunter Valley region. The grapes were machine-picked during the cool of the night, gently pressed, and fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve their fresh character. The wine then spent a short time on yeast lees to enhance complexity and mouthfeel.
Tasting notes
On the palate, it is medium-bodied yet intense, with great length and a brisk acidity.
Pairing
This Semillon pairs wonderfully with seafood dishes, particularly shellfish, crab, and lobster, where its crisp acidity complements the natural sweetness of the seafood. It’s also an excellent match for light salads and citrus-infused dishes, enhancing their fresh flavors.

Sémillon is a gold-skinned grape which can produce fresh dry whites and intensive sweet wines. Dry version usually has medium body, good acidity and intensive stonefruit bouquet.
