Simon Colin Chassagne-Montrachet 2024
Sommelier recommends
“The nose is complex, with aromas of citrus, honey, white blossom, and toasted bread. On the palate, the wine is round, juicy, and beautifully balanced, with delicate notes of vanilla. The finish is long, persistent, and rounded.” — Ronalds Pētersons, Sommelier at Noble Wine5 in stock
Simon Colin Chassagne-Montrachet 2024 is a refined white Burgundy from one of the region's most prestigious appellations. Crafted from 100% Chardonnay, it reflects the exceptional terroir of Chassagne-Montrachet, where limestone soils and a cool climate give the wine remarkable elegance, pronounced minerality, and excellent ageing potential. The 2024 vintage is defined by freshness, precision, and outstanding balance. Simon Colin follows a minimal-intervention philosophy, allowing the vineyard character and the purity of Chardonnay to take centre stage.
The bouquet reveals lemon zest, white peach, ripe pear, and white flower aromas layered with butter, toasted hazelnut, delicate vanilla, and chalky minerality. Full-bodied, elegant, and creamy on the palate, the wine is supported by vibrant acidity, beautifully integrated oak, and a long mineral finish.
Perfect with lobster, scallops, grilled white fish, butter-based sauces, mushroom risotto, roast chicken, and aged soft cheeses. Its richness, freshness, and refined structure make it an excellent companion to classic French cuisine.
