Patrick Javillier “Clos du Cromin” Meursault 2024
Sommelier recommends
“The nose reveals aromas of white blossom, citrus, crisp green apple, and wet chalk. On the palate, the wine is dry, mineral-driven, and juicy, with remarkable freshness, vibrant intensity, and a long, persistent finish.” — Ronalds Pētersons, Sommelier at Noble Wine9 in stock
Wine Searcher review
Patrick Javillier “Clos du Cromin” Meursault 2024 Blanc is a high-quality single-vineyard Chardonnay from one of Meursault’s notable sites. “Clos du Cromin” is a historic walled vineyard, where clay-limestone soils provide both power and precision. The 2024 vintage offers an excellent balance between concentration and freshness, resulting in a layered and elegant wine with strong aging potential.
The nose reveals ripe yellow fruits, citrus zest, white flowers, and delicate notes of butter, hazelnut, and vanilla. On the palate, it is full-bodied, creamy, and harmonious, with pronounced minerality, well-integrated oak, and balanced acidity. The texture is refined, and the finish is long, elegant, and complex.
Ideal with butter-poached fish, lobster, scallops, creamy chicken dishes, or rich cheeses like Comté. The wine’s richness and balanced acidity complement creamy and buttery dishes while maintaining freshness and finesse.
