      About
      Louis Roederer Collection 246 is a modern evolution of the house’s non-vintage Brut, replacing the classic “Brut Premier.” Built on the foundation of the 2018 harvest, it is blended with a dynamic “réserve perpétuelle” and oak-aged reserve wines to create a Champagne of depth, freshness, and texture. Collection 246 represents a thoughtful, terroir-focused response to changing climate and shifting palates.
      Tasting notes

      Notes of orchard fruits, lemon zest, almond, and subtle brioche on the nose. The palate is vibrant and textured, with a creamy mousse, layered fruit, and fine minerality. Balanced and expressive, with delicate bubbles and a refreshing, dry finish.

      Pairing

      Excellent as an aperitif or paired with food—especially oysters, sushi, white fish, or grilled chicken with lemon. Its freshness and texture make it a versatile match for both light and moderately rich dishes.

      The Champagne region combines specific climate, soil, and topography conditions that form a unique terroir currently used by approx. 15 000 vine-growers and 300 wine houses. The region has 4 sub-regions - Montagne de Reims, Côte des Blancs, Vallée de la Marne, and Côte des Bar. Each provides customers with a different style of sparkling wine. The dominant grapes are Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier which are mainly used in Montagne de Reims and Vallée de la Marne, while Chardonnay shows excellent results in Côte des Blancs.
