Ken Forrester “Old Vine Reserve Chenin” Stellenbosch 2024 is a refined dry white wine crafted from carefully selected old-vine Chenin Blanc in Stellenbosch, South Africa. Many of the vines are over 35 years old, producing naturally low yields that result in exceptional concentration, complexity, and a true expression of the region's terroir. The 2024 vintage combines generous fruit with vibrant acidity and elegant texture. Partial fermentation and ageing in oak barrels add depth and complexity while preserving the freshness and purity that define premium Chenin Blanc.

The bouquet reveals ripe pear, apricot, quince, and lemon zest aromas layered with acacia honey, white flowers, toasted almonds, and delicate vanilla notes. Full-bodied, juicy, and beautifully structured on the palate, the wine displays lively acidity, a creamy texture, and a long mineral finish.

Perfect with grilled seafood, white fish, chicken, veal, creamy risotto, mildly spiced curries, and aged cheeses. Its richness, freshness, and versatility make it an excellent companion to both European and Asian cuisine.

Chenin Blanc may be made to any level of sweetness (from bone-dry, crisp white wine and sparkling, through to sweet wine). Often it is wines with fresh acidity and specific aromas of white flowers, honey and stone fruit.
