About
Ken Forrester's "Old Vine Reserve Chenin" is a dry white wine crafted from Chenin Blanc grapes, sourced from the Stellenbosch region in South Africa.
Tasting notes

On the nose, it presents enticing aromas of melon and spicy baked apple. The palate is layered with mineral undertones, complemented by honeycomb and caramel flavors derived from extended lees contact. A subtle touch of vanilla from French oak maturation adds complexity to its smooth, lingering finish.

Pairing

This versatile Chenin Blanc pairs excellently with a variety of spicy dishes, as well as full-flavored fish or chicken preparations. It is particularly well-suited to accompany seafood such as crayfish and prawns, enhancing the dining experience with its balanced profile.
