A non‑vintage Grand Cru Champagne from J.P. Seconde (Mailly‑sur‑Marne, Montagne de Reims), made from 100 % Chardonnay. Known for its “complex and traditional” drinking experience, this wine blends vibrancy and fruit purity with mineral elegance — ideal as an aperitif or paired with refined seafood dishes.
Producer
Ours is a family-run business located in the village of Mailly Champagne on the north slopes of La Montagne de Reims. The village is classified as Grand Cru and is renowned for the quality of its Pinot Noir grapes and its Blanc de Noirs champagnes. We’ve been making champagne using grapes from our own vineyards since 1975 which means that we manage every step of the wine making process ourselves, always keeping in mind the principle that good wine starts with good grapes.
Tasting notes
Pale and clear in appearance. On the nose — apple and citrus fruit with hints of tropical fruit. On the palate — fresh and lively, with excellent balance between fruitiness and acidity. Style: “complex and traditional.”

Perfect with shellfish, crab, and lobster.

Blanc de Blancs
Blanc de Blancs is a white champagne made only from white grapes, mainly Chardonnay. Champagne style can vary from light and crisp wines to creamy and rich examples.
Champagne
The Champagne region combines specific climate, soil, and topography conditions that form a unique terroir currently used by approx. 15 000 vine-growers and 300 wine houses. The region has 4 sub-regions - Montagne de Reims, Côte des Blancs, Vallée de la Marne, and Côte des Bar. Each provides customers with a different style of sparkling wine. The dominant grapes are Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier which are mainly used in Montagne de Reims and Vallée de la Marne, while Chardonnay shows excellent results in Côte des Blancs. The region is even more appealing because of the so-called "Growe's Champagne" wines, the production of which is overseen by one family from start to finish - they grow and press grapes, make wine, and bottle it in the territory of one wine house. This gives the wine a true charm, aura, and unique flavor.
