Cantina di Prisco Greco di Tufo DOCG 2022 is a dry white wine made from Greco grapes, grown in the Greco di Tufo DOCG region in Campania, Italy. Producer
The Di Prisco winery was created in 1995 by the stubborn Pasqualino di Prisco, who inherited an estate in Fontanarosa, province of Avellino, from his father and grandfather. With the desire to make famous local grape varieties that almost no one had heard of outside Irpinia (for example, Greco di Tufo, Aglianico, Fiano and Coda di Volpe), Pasqualino created his own winery by rebuilding a building that had previously been used as a stable and equipping it with the most modern equipment for wine production.
Tasting notes
Cantina di Prisco Greco di Tufo reveals fragrant aromas of white flowers, green apple, and ripe pear, complemented by subtle citrus and mineral nuances. On the palate, the wine is fresh and medium-bodied, with vibrant acidity balancing notes of lemon zest, almond, and a lightly saline finish. Its crisp texture and persistent aftertaste make it both refreshing and complex.

Di Prisco
Di Prisco vīndarītava tika izveidota 1995. gadā, pateicoties Paskulīno di Prisko (Pasqualino Di Prisco) apņēmībai. Viņš mantoja saimniecību no sava tēva un vectēva, kuri bija zemnieki Fontanarosā, Avellino provincē. Greco wines are characterized by fresh acidity, strong structure and richness, but also has elegant minerality and tropical fruit bouquet. Greco have good aging potential and evolve with age.
Campania
When it comes to nature this region is very rich - it has a blue sea, a mild climate and a fertile soil. All this creates the perfect conditions for winemaking and allows the production of a wide wine variety from dry and sweet to sparkling and fortified wines. Campania produces wine of all three quality control categories - DOC, DOCG and IGT. A wide diversity of varieties is allowed, but the main grape is Aglianico which produces rich red wines that absorb all the nature's abundance.
