Tenuta Roveglia "Vigne di Catullo" Lugana Riserva DOC 2022 is a dry white wine from Lugana DOC, crafted from 100% Turbiana (Trebbiano di Lugana) grown on the southern shores of Lake Garda, Italy. Extended ageing on the fine lees gives the wine exceptional depth, a creamy texture, and remarkable complexity while preserving the grape's signature freshness and mineral character. The 2022 vintage delivers outstanding balance, elegance, and excellent ageing potential.

The nose reveals aromas of preserved lemon, yellow peach, and apricot, complemented by notes of acacia blossom, Mediterranean herbs, almond, and flinty minerality. On the palate, the wine is dry, concentrated, and elegantly structured, with a creamy texture, vibrant acidity, and a long mineral finish where citrus fruit and delicate spice are beautifully integrated.

An excellent match for lobster, grilled prawns, sea bass, butter-poached white fish, seafood risotto, roast chicken, and aged hard cheeses. Its structure and elegance make it an ideal partner for refined Mediterranean cuisine.

Tenuta Roveglia is one of the leading wineries of the Lugana appellation, with generations of experience dedicated to cultivating the Turbiana grape. Its vineyards are planted on clay-rich soils near Lake Garda, where the lake’s moderating climate creates ideal conditions for producing elegant and aromatic white wines. Combining traditional viticulture with modern winemaking techniques, Tenuta Roveglia crafts authentic Lugana wines known for their purity, elegance, and distinctive expression of terroir.

This is the so called "water" region for it is surrounded by rivers and lakes. Vines are grown in the mountains. Winters are cold and foggy, but the long autumn helps the late Nebbiolo grapes to ripen. The region produces two DOCG wines - Franciacorta and Valtellina Superiore - and more than 10 DOC wines.
