This elegant Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the sun-drenched vineyards of the Garda DOC region, where Lake Garda’s temperate microclimate helps the grapes ripen fully while preserving freshness. The 2020 vintage delivers a beautifully balanced red with structure, ripe fruit, and a refined finish — a sophisticated expression of international variety through an Italian lens.

Deep ruby in color, the nose offers aromas of blackcurrant, wild berries, sweet spice, and a hint of tobacco. On the palate, it is well-structured, with supple tannins, good balance and notes of dark cherry, cocoa, and earthy undertones. The finish is persistent and elegant, with a pleasant freshness that makes it highly drinkable.

Pairs well with grilled meat, roasted lamb, pasta with meat sauces, and aged cheeses. Its structure and savory profile make it a versatile companion for hearty dishes.

Tenuta Roveglia is one of the leading wineries of the Lugana appellation, with generations of experience dedicated to cultivating the Turbiana grape. Its vineyards are planted on clay-rich soils near Lake Garda, where the lake’s moderating climate creates ideal conditions for producing elegant and aromatic white wines. Combining traditional viticulture with modern winemaking techniques, Tenuta Roveglia crafts authentic Lugana wines known for their purity, elegance, and distinctive expression of terroir.

Cabernet Sauvignon wines shows a strong body, high acidity and high levels of tannins. A bouquet is very intensive, with black berries and spices. Very often these wines has great aging potential.
This is the so called "water" region for it is surrounded by rivers and lakes. Vines are grown in the mountains. Winters are cold and foggy, but the long autumn helps the late Nebbiolo grapes to ripen. The region produces two DOCG wines - Franciacorta and Valtellina Superiore - and more than 10 DOC wines.
