Selva Capuzza "Hirundo" Lugana Brut Metodo Classico 2019 is an elegant sparkling wine from Lugana DOC, Lombardy, Italy, crafted from Turbiana (Trebbiano di Lugana) grapes using the traditional Metodo Classico. Extended ageing on the lees creates fine, persistent bubbles, a creamy texture, and delicate brioche notes, beautifully complemented by citrus, white blossom, and mineral nuances. A refined and complex sparkling wine with a fresh, elegant finish.

The nose reveals aromas of citrus, green apple, white blossom, and freshly baked brioche, complemented by delicate hints of almond and minerality. On the palate, the wine is fresh, creamy, and precisely structured, with vibrant acidity, fine mousse, and a long, elegant mineral finish.

An excellent match for oysters, seafood, grilled prawns, delicate fish dishes, risotto, fresh goat’s cheese, or simply enjoyed as a refined aperitif.

Selva Capuzza is a family-owned winery located near Lake Garda in the Lugana region of Lombardy, Italy. For generations, the estate has focused on expressing the full potential of the indigenous Turbiana grape, combining traditional winemaking with sustainable vineyard practices. The winery is renowned for producing elegant Lugana wines and outstanding Metodo Classico sparkling wines that faithfully reflect the mineral-rich terroir of the region.
This is the so called "water" region for it is surrounded by rivers and lakes. Vines are grown in the mountains. Winters are cold and foggy, but the long autumn helps the late Nebbiolo grapes to ripen. The region produces two DOCG wines - Franciacorta and Valtellina Superiore - and more than 10 DOC wines.
