Wine Searcher review
This is a dry white wine from Austria’s Leithaberg DAC (Burgenland), made from 100% Pinot Blanc grapes from the Steinweingarten vineyard. Certified organic, stainless-steel fermentation with lees contact, highlighting finesse and mineral depth. Best drinking window: 2025–2038.
Light golden-yellow with silver reflections. Aromas of hazelnut, marzipan and white orchard fruit (pear, peach) with meadow herbs and a saline-mineral thread. On the palate it’s elegant and juicy, with crisp acidity, subtle sweetness and a salty-mineral finish.
Excellent with oysters, shellfish, crab salads, fresh goat or soft cheeses, and light poultry dishes.
