About
Pertois-Lebrun Brut Blanc de Blancs “Les Chétillons” 2016 is a dry Champagne crafted entirely from Chardonnay grapes sourced from the famed Les Chétillons lieu-dit in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, within the Côte des Blancs region of France. This vintage Champagne highlights the precision of a single-parcel terroir and the estate’s commitment to grower-producer craftsmanship. Long lees aging and meticulous cellar work give this cuvée remarkable finesse, purity, and aging potential.
Tasting notes
The aroma opens with refined notes of lemon zest, white flowers, chalk, and fresh pastry. On the palate, it is vibrant and elegant, showcasing green apple, citrus cream, crushed stone, and subtle toasted nuances. A linear mineral core and persistent, saline finish underline the wine’s precision and depth.
Pairing
This Champagne pairs beautifully with delicate seafood dishes such as oysters, scallops, or poached white fish. Its minerality and freshness also complement fine sushi, caviar, and light poultry preparations.

Blanc de Blancs
Blanc de Blancs is a white champagne made only from white grapes, mainly Chardonnay. Champagne style can vary from light and crisp wines to creamy and rich examples.
Champagne
The Champagne region combines specific climate, soil, and topography conditions that form a unique terroir currently used by approx. 15 000 vine-growers and 300 wine houses. The region has 4 sub-regions - Montagne de Reims, Côte des Blancs, Vallée de la Marne, and Côte des Bar. Each provides customers with a different style of sparkling wine. The dominant grapes are Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier which are mainly used in Montagne de Reims and Vallée de la Marne, while Chardonnay shows excellent results in Côte des Blancs. The region is even more appealing because of the so-called "Growe's Champagne" wines, the production of which is overseen by one family from start to finish - they grow and press grapes, make wine, and bottle it in the territory of one wine house. This gives the wine a true charm, aura, and unique flavor.
