The name ORMÆVINÆ comes from the words 'ORMa' (footsteps), 'ORMai' (by this time), or 'ORMoni' (hormones) + VINo. 'ORMa' represents the belief that the production of great wine in such a historic area as Tuscany is impossible without studying and adhering to the legacy of Tuscan agricultural production. ORMÆVINÆ walks in the footsteps of the generations that lived on and cultivated that blessed land for over 3000 years: from Etruscans, through Romans and Renaissance to nowadays.

Cabernet Sauvignon wines shows a strong body, high acidity and high levels of tannins. A bouquet is very intensive, with black berries and spices. Very often these wines has great aging potential.
The hilly terrain and warm climate make Tuscany an ideal region for winemaking. It ranks third by the amount DOC and DOCG category wines after Piemonte and Veneto. Currently the most popular variety is the noble Sangiovese - it is extremely thermophilic and successfully reveals its best traits in warm climates. Wines have a lovely structure, velvety tannins and a fruity aroma, the color is rich ruby red, but the most distinguishable flavor notes are cherries, raspberries and spices.
