Meinklang Burgenlandweiß 2024 is a dry white wine made from a blend of Muscat (Muskateller), Welschriesling, and Grüner Veltliner grapes, sourced from the Burgenland / Neusiedlersee region in Austria. This biodynamically farmed cuvée showcases traditional local varietals and embodies the natural, low‑intervention philosophy of the Meinklang estate.
On the nose, expect vibrant notes of orchard fruit—apricot, elderflower and acacia blossom—intertwined with herbal hints of sage and lemongrass, and subtle anise and peppery spice typical of Grüner Veltliner. The palate offers juicy stone‑fruit sweetness finely balanced by lively acidity and a restrained residual sugar of around 1 g/l, delivering an approachable freshness that finishes with a delicate mineral undertone and just 11.5% alcohol.
This light‑footed wine pairs delightfully with grilled or poached fish (such as trout or pikeperch with herbs), fresh goat cheese starters, or summer salads featuring citrus and herbs. Its aromatic complexity and freshness also complement Mediterranean vegetable dishes with fennel, lemon, and herbs—all perfect matches for Burgenlandweiß.
