Chateau “Bellevue” St.Emilion GCC 2022
Sommelier recommends
“The nose reveals aromas of sweet spices, blackcurrant, black pepper, and tobacco. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied and rounded, with notes of blackcurrant, black pepper, and cedar. The tannins have a fine black tea character.” — Ronalds Pētersons, Sommelier at Noble Wine2 in stock
Wine Searcher review
A red wine from Château Bellevue, a Saint‑Émilion Grand Cru Classé (Bordeaux, France), made from 100% Merlot grown on clay-limestone soils. The 2022 vintage was harvested by hand, fermented in temperature-controlled vats with 2–3 weeks maceration, and aged 16–20 months in oak barrels. It offers both fruit intensity and terroir-driven elegance — built for long aging.
Intense purple fruit aromas with violet florals, wild strawberries, and earthy minerality, rounded out by cedar notes. On the palate — medium to full-bodied with juicy red and black stone fruit flavors (cherries and plums), firm tannins, and an enduring chalky-mineral finish; rich yet elegant structure.
Pairs beautifully with veal, braised meats, game dishes, richly flavored cuisine, and aged cheeses.
