About
Cantine Terredagoli Chianti Classico 2023 is a classic Tuscan red crafted primarily from Sangiovese grown in the rolling hills of Chianti Classico. The wine reflects the authentic character of the region – elegance, vibrancy, and balance. The 2023 vintage delivered harmonious ripeness while preserving bright acidity and pure fruit expression, making it both approachable and structured.
Tasting notes

Bright ruby red in color. Aromas of red cherry, wild strawberry, violet, and subtle Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, it is fresh and medium-structured, with lively acidity and fine tannins. The finish is clean, elegant, and gently spicy.

Pairing

Excellent with pasta in tomato or ragù sauce, grilled beef, roasted lamb, pizza, eggplant dishes, and aged Pecorino cheese. A natural partner for traditional Italian cuisine.

Cantine Terredagoli
Cantine Terredagoli is a Tuscan winery dedicated to preserving the heritage of Chianti Classico. The estate focuses on native grape varieties, careful vineyard management, and authentic terroir expression in every bottle.
Canaiolo makes for elegant and juicy red wine with elegant aromatics and gentle tannins. It blends exceptionally well with Sangiovese and it can underline herbaceous flavors found in the blend.
It is important to note that Chianti un Chianti Classico are two different winemaking regions, but both have DOCG. In 1847 baron Bettino Ricasoli created a specific recipe for this wine that consisted of Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Mavasia Bianca grapes, but in 2007 the use of white grapes in Chianti Classico was banned in order to highlight the king's Sangiovese character and elegance.
The hilly terrain and warm climate make Tuscany an ideal region for winemaking. It ranks third by the amount DOC and DOCG category wines after Piemonte and Veneto. Currently the most popular variety is the noble Sangiovese - it is extremely thermophilic and successfully reveals its best traits in warm climates. Wines have a lovely structure, velvety tannins and a fruity aroma, the color is rich ruby red, but the most distinguishable flavor notes are cherries, raspberries and spices.
