Ca la Bionda Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG 2019
Sommelier recommends
“The nose reveals aromas of dried cherry, plum, and cinnamon. On the palate, the wine is intense, rich, and fresh, with notes of sweet spices, cherry, and tobacco. The tannins are firm and chalky. The finish is exceptionally long.” — Ronalds Pētersons, Sommelier at Noble Wine32 in stock
Wine Searcher review
Ca’ la Bionda Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG 2019 BIO is a certified organic expression that reflects the Valpolicella Classico terroir in its purest form. Produced using the traditional appassimento method, organically grown grapes are carefully dried to concentrate their aromas and structure. The 2019 vintage stands out for its harmonious balance between power and finesse, delivering an intense yet refined wine with remarkable depth and aging potential.
The nose reveals ripe black cherries, dried plums, and forest berries, layered with notes of cocoa, tobacco, sweet spices, and a subtle balsamic touch. On the palate, it is full-bodied, velvety, and concentrated, with a rich core of dark fruit balanced by fresh acidity and ripe, polished tannins. The finish is long, warm, and multi-layered, with lingering hints of chocolate and spice.
Perfect with rich meat dishes such as grilled steak, slow-cooked lamb, or game, where the wine’s structure and intensity enhance the depth of flavors. It also pairs beautifully with aged cheeses and truffle dishes, while equally enjoyable on its own as a contemplative wine.
