About

Pineau des Charentes is a fortified wine from the Cognac region, made by blending fresh or lightly fermented grape must (Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc) with Cognac eau‑de‑vie and aging it for at least 5 years in oak. Château de Beaulon’s version offers a refined bouquet of honey and vanilla, a velvety texture, and a sweet‑fresh balance — perfect as an aperitif or dessert companion.

Tasting notes

Clear golden hue. Aromas of white flowers, honey, vanilla sweetness, mandarin peel nuances, and a subtle oak touch. On the palate — fresh, sweet-acid balance with pear and vanilla elegance; smooth, gentle structure and a warm sweet finish.

Pairing

Excellent as an aperitif, particularly with shellfish, delicate seafood, foie gras, or veal. Also pairs beautifully with almond or honey pastries, and gentle coconut desserts.
