Léoville Poyferré's grand vin legacy began in 1840, fifteen years later it will be consecrated as the second classified growth. Didier Quuelel has managed the fate of this pearl since 1979. Pavillon Léoville Poyferré St. Julien 2022 presents a captivating bouquet of blackcurrant, dark cherries, and plum, accented by notes of cedar, graphite, and subtle spice. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, with fine-grained tannins and a well-balanced acidity, delivering layers of ripe dark fruit, hints of cocoa, and a touch of tobacco.
