About

Weingut Mann "Rotlich" 2022 is a light, lively red wine from the Rheinhessen region of Germany. This biodynamically farmed wine is crafted from a blend of red and white grape varieties, including Bacchus, Cabernet Dorsa, Dornfelder, Huxelrebe, Merlot, Pinot Gris, and Portugieser. The grapes were partially whole-cluster pressed and matured for one year in 2400-liter oak fuder barrels, with no filtration and minimal added sulfur.

Tasting notes

The nose opens with refreshing notes of forest strawberries and rhubarb, complemented by subtle hints of wild herbs. On the palate, it is juicy and lively, with soft tannins and low acidity. The wine offers an approachable, everyday charm, perfect for casual sipping or enjoying with friends.

Pairing

This versatile wine pairs wonderfully with light dishes such as chicken salads, seafood, or vegetable tapas. Its refreshing character also makes it an excellent choice as an aperitif or alongside light snacks.
