About
Poli Marconi Gin 46% 0.7L is a premium Italian gin crafted by the renowned Poli Distillery. Known for its dry style, this gin is made using an infusion of carefully selected botanicals, including juniper berries, citrus peel, and herbs, delivering a sophisticated and aromatic flavor profile. Hailing from the Veneto region of Italy, it is celebrated for its crisp, clean finish and complexity, without being overly sweet.
Producer
The Poli Distillerie is a grappa distillery owned by the Poli family. It was founded in 1898 in Schiavone, near Bassano del Grappa, Veneto, Italy. Today Jacopo Poli has turned grappa production into an artistic process. The production process uses the freshest grape pomace from the best winemakers in Italy. Jacopo uses an ordinary copper cube that has been used by many generations for over a century! Paying attention to the smallest detail, Jacopo has created various grappa varieties with excellent fruity aromas and unmatched elegance.
Tasting notes

On the palate, Poli Marconi Gin showcases a harmonious balance of bold juniper with a subtle herbal undertone, complemented by a refreshing citrus zest. A gentle hint of spice emerges mid-palate, providing depth and complexity, while the finish is clean and smooth. The gin’s high ABV (46%) adds an extra layer of warmth, making it ideal for sipping or in cocktails.

Pairing

Poli Marconi Gin pairs excellently with fresh seafood dishes, like oysters or grilled shrimp, as well as light appetizers such as a citrusy salad or goat cheese. Its crisp and vibrant character also complements spiced dishes, particularly those with Mediterranean flavors.

Italian wine is produced in every region of Italy, home to some of the oldest wine-producing regions in the world. Italy is the world's largest producer of wine, with an area of 702,000 hectares (1,730,000 acres) under vineyard cultivation, and contributing a 2013–2017 annual average of 48.3 million hl of wine. In 2018 Italy accounted for 19 percent of global production, ahead of France (17 percent) and Spain (15 percent). Italian wine is both exported around the world and popular domestically among Italians, who consume an average of 42 litres per capita, ranking fifth in world wine consumption. Etruscans and Greek settlers produced wine in Italy before the Romans planted their own vineyards in the 2nd century AD. The Romans greatly increased Italy's area under vine using efficient viticultural and winemaking methods, and pioneered large-scale production and storage techniques such as barrel-making and bottling.
