With the onset of the velvet season, we can enjoy such a wonderful forest product as mushrooms, the dishes of which are perfectly combined with wine. But the choice of drink should be special! What kind of wine should be – its color, aroma and taste, in order to emphasize the autumn taste of dishes with mushrooms, we will talk about this during the meeting and taste six gastronomic pairs of various wines and snacks with mushrooms. Chanterelles, porcini mushrooms, champignons, pickled honey mushrooms and even truffles require different wine recommendations, which we will be happy to share with you!
For our tasting, the chef of the Chef’s Corner restaurant Reinis Strazdins will take care of the mushroom snacks. Menu: profiteroles with chanterelle cream, forest mushroom tart with parmesan and Velouté with Jerusalem artichoke and fresh truffle.
