With the onset of the autumn season, we can enjoy such forest gifts as mushrooms, the dishes of which are perfectly compatible with wine. But the choice of drinks must be careful! Exactly what the wine should be, its taste and aroma, including the color, to highlight the special taste of autumn in mushroom dishes, we will discuss this during the meeting and taste six gastronomic pairs consisting of different wines and mushroom snacks. Chanterelles, mushrooms, mushrooms, pickled strains and even truffles – each needs different wine recommendations, which we will be happy to introduce you to!
Reinis Strazdiņš, the chef of the Chef’s Corner restaurant, will take care of mushroom snacks during our tasting. The menu will include profit rolls with chanterelle cream, wild mushroom tart with parmesan cheese and veluté with Jerusalem artichokes and fresh truffles.
In accordance with the regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers, the tastings will take place with planned safety measures and will be possible for visitors who have been vaccinated against Covid-19, have been ill and can confirm this by presenting a digital Covid-19 certificate or have passed a 24-hour valid Covid test before event.
